Cabaret “Lachmöwe” at the R&R Strandhotel Baabe

The only cabaret stage with a permanent ensemble in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania offers satirical programs full of wit and entertainment.

In the intimate theater located in the basement of the Strandhotel, up to 90 guests can enjoy not only a cultural highlight but also a delightful culinary experience. Seated comfortably at small tables, guests are served drinks, tarte flambée, and light snacks by the teams from Lachmöwe and the Strandhotel before the show and during the intermission.

With around 120 performances each year, Lachmöwe delights both visitors and locals alike. Guests are captivated again and again by the unique atmosphere and the cleverly humorous performances of the cabaret artists.

The rustic maritime beer bar “Unter Deck”, furnished in the style of an old wooden fishing cutter, is a popular meeting place for both visitors and locals. Over a freshly tapped beer, a glass of wine, or a delicious cocktail, it’s easy to strike up a conversation and enjoy the lively atmosphere.

The bar is run by the hostess herself – always cheerful, friendly, and warmly welcoming to her guests.

Because it’s such a popular spot, we recommend reserving a table in advance during the high season. Live music is regularly featured, the atmosphere is always great, and smoking is still permitted in the bar.
