National Park Centre

Rügen’s famous chalk cliffs are among the island’s most impressive highlights. The National Park Centre features an interactive exhibition and a multi-vision cinema. Join a guided tour, use an audio guide or hike independently along the cliff-top trail to the Königsstuhl.

Natural Heritage Centre

At the modern information centre near Prora, the interactive exhibition offers fascinating insights into Rügen and its natural environment. The 1,250 metre treetop walk also provides breathtaking views across the island - an unforgettable experience for the whole family.

AHOI! Water Park

When the weather is less inviting, the AHOI! Water Park in Sellin is the perfect alternative. Swimming pools, water slides, saunas, steam baths and the relaxing aroma grotto offer something for the whole family.

Rasender Roland

Travel across Rügen aboard the historic “Rasender Roland” steam railway. At speeds of up to 30 km/h, the narrow-gauge train passes through yellow rapeseed fields and the island’s picturesque countryside—an experience for more than just railway enthusiasts.

Climbing Forest, High-Ropes Course & Archery

Adventure awaits at the Binz/Prora Climbing Forest on Rügen. Ten courses set in an idyllic woodland test your courage, balance and strength. Modern safety equipment and experienced guides ensure a safe and exciting experience.

Granitz Hunting Lodge

The beautifully furnished Granitz Hunting Lodge, once the residence of Prince Malte of Putbus, is one of Rügen’s most popular attractions. Climb the open spiral staircase inside the 38-metre-high central tower and enjoy panoramic views across the island. Afterwards, the historic castle restaurant serves regional cuisine, refreshments, coffee and cake.

Galileo World of Knowledge Rügen

The largest interactive museum in northern Germany features more than 200 hands-on exhibits, including an earthquake simulator, walk-in organ models and a hot-air balloon. Explore the world of biology, from the Stone Age and dinosaurs to the human body, or discover fascinating physical and technical processes through interactive exhibits.

Königsstuhl and Rügen’s Chalk Cliffs

Since 2023, the Königsstuhl has offered an entirely new experience. From the accessible Skywalk, you can enjoy spectacular views over the chalk cliffs and Baltic Sea. The 185-metre-long structure rises 122 metres above the sea and four metres above the Königsstuhl.
